Mircea Roman is an acclaimed sculptor, known for his expressive, fragmented human forms that explore identity and existence. A graduate of the “Ion Andreescu” Academy in Cluj, he won the Grand Prize at the Osaka Triennale (1992) and has exhibited widely, including at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest. Florentina Voichi, a graduate of the Nicolae Grigorescu Institute, is a member of the Union of Visual Artists of Romania. Her evocative paintings have been exhibited in major Romanian museums and internationally, including in Portugal. She has also taught Art History and authored Painters Book (2007), a study on visuality in painting. This collaboration offers a unique opportunity to experience the synergy between Roman’s sculptural narratives and Voichi’s painterly expressions, providing a rich tapestry of contemporary Romanian art.
