Mihai Mohaci

A childhood passion materialized in a few exhibitions before the fall of the regime, interrupted for many years and resumed in recent times. “Mihai Mohaci, a well-known name in the political world, has surprised many with his transition to visual arts, becoming a remarkable presence in the Romanian artistic landscape. Originally from Piatra Neamț, the city of surrealist painter Victor Brauner, and now living in Brașov, Mohaci dedicated a large part of his life to public activity. However, his passion for beauty led him down the path of art, transforming him into a talented painter and sculptor. In painting, he finds his artistic voice in surrealism.”(Transilvania Art Gallery) “I am a painter of light and imaginative forms. Painting is a spiritual refuge – it comes, twists inside me, and then leaves into the wide world.”
