1-Q Sapro (b. 1975, Bucharest) is a musician, actor, and visual artist, currently a III-year student at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department. Additionally, 1-Q Sapro was a founding member of the hip-hop group Morometzii (1993), boasting a musical career spanning over 20 years. In his visual practice, he oscillates across a wide range of experimental techniques and artistic manners, from drawing, engraving, collage, and mosaic, to painting on canvas and sculptural objects. His works evoke an analytical (and critical when necessary) spirit regarding the human condition in society, in couple life, or in self-contemplation.
