Septimiu Capatina & Adelina Simona Ionescu

Septimiu Căpățînă is a Romanian artist, a graduate of the Bucharest Art Academy - Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design - Mural Art Department (1992) - Dean Ion Bitzan, member of the Union of Visual Artists from Romania (1997). His paintings are recognized for artistic expression in a gestural manner, vibrant colors and strong touches that uniquely mark his creation. Septimiu is a follower of the lyrical expressionism style, his creation being influenced by artists such as Willem De Kooning, Wassily Kadinsky, Zao Wou- Ki. Master's student of the Bucharest National University of Arts, Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design, Specializing in Mural Art and Public Space, Adelina Simona Ionescu is a lawyer by profession and introduces herself as an artist, Adelina Simona Ionescu. In full learning and creative development, she is combining techniques and playing with visual effects, so that each painting is an experiment. The artist tries to impose her own artistic mark in each of her paintings. Each creation contains a story, which is not only found in a single painting, but in a whole series, which, viewed as a whole, reveals the message of the theme addressed, inciting the viewer to decipher the elements chained between the works, to compose them in the imagination, as a puzzle.
