Giulian Octav Dumitriu is an atypical and versatile artist, always looking for new lines and directions in art. Graduate of the Sculpture Department of the Nicolae Grigorescu Faculty of Arts within the University of Bucharest, he created and creates both in Romania, Italy and France. He participated in personal and group exhibitions, as well as international art fairs. His sculptures are spread all over the world (France, Italy, Israel, USA, Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, Spain, Romania, etc). Giulian Dumitriu's art does not fit a particular category. As one of his collectors stated, "Giulian has an extraordinary sense of materials, the shape of which transforms under his touch. An amalgam of impatience and of an explosion of feelings, with attention to little details thrown in."
