Irina Cristescu was born in 1991 in Cluj Napoca, Romania. In 2006 she moved to Switzerland to study at the Institut Le Rosey. In 2010, Irina went to New York to study at Parsons School of Design and then moved to Bucharest, where she graduated from the National University of Arts and obtained the title of Master in Visual Arts. Irina executes portraits of humanity, it being her pleasure to explore human nature through its transient states which she identifies as universally valid in human psychology. Irina is interested in the study of the interaction between the outer and the inner world and the effect that the former has on the latter. Ioan Sbârciu is a prominent Romanian contemporary artist and painter, known for his expressive, abstract works that often explore themes of nature, memory, and spirituality. Born in 1948, he is also a respected professor and former rector of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, where he played a significant role in shaping the Cluj art scene. His work is characterized by bold brushstrokes, atmospheric compositions, and a deep connection to Romanian landscapes and cultural identity.
