The 3D Group consists of three sculptors who are members of the same family: Alfred Dumitriu, Giulian Octav Dumitriu and Vlad Dumitriu. The group debuted in 2006 with a successful exhibition at the famous Pagani Foundation in Castellanza, Milan, Italy. This time, under the theme "The World Today", the group proposes a scrutiny of the contemporary realities which are of concern for the whole of humanity, transposing into forms - concrete, physical, volumetric - ideas, concepts, fears and experiences arising from concerns such as global warming, war, famine, family, children, human life, continuity, trying to raise an alarm signal, but keeping a large dose of optimism.
