Drawing and painting studies between 1943-1947 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, with professors Nicolae Dărăscu (drawing) and Jean Al. Steriadi (painting). He became a member of the Fine Arts Union and a founding member of the UAP (in 1950), painting section, Bucharest.

He participated in numerous personal and group exhibitions (founding member of the "Prolog" group), author exhibitions (comparative art) in Bucharest, Bologna, Venice, Limassol, Timișoara, Alba-Iulia, Budapest.



Within the Roman Gallery: 2015- the exhibitions "Prolog 90x30" and "Colind", 2016- the exhibition "Străvezime. Group exhibitions; 2016- "Tescani 40"; 2017 - retrospective exhibition "Paul Gherasim" in Bucharest, and then, in partnership with the Concentric gallery, in Bistrița.
