Mihai Mureșan is a young visual artist who graduated from the Faculty of Art and Design of Cluj Napoca, under the guidance of prof. Ioan Sbârciu. He is interested in nature and urban landscapes and he meticulously and delicately showcases, under a rigorous drawing, flowers and still lives, or different objects carefully selected which he uses as studies.

The artist uses photography in his documenting process for his artworks which represents an essential part in the preparation of the subjects he approaches. He prefers working at a smaller scale which proposes a melancholic space through chromatic harmony and unexpected angles through which he showcases an atmosphere filled with sensitivity.
