Sabin is a Romanian artist who grew up in his father’s studio, where he started painting at a young age. He studied architecture at the University of Architecture in Bucharest, graduating in 2007. While building a successful career in architecture, he turned to painting as a way to experiment and create without limitations. His work explores the physical qualities of color, investigating how it interacts with form, space, and material. By layering and shaping colors, he gives them a tangible, almost sculptural presence, transforming two-dimensional surfaces into dynamic compositions. Influenced by his architectural background, Sabin integrates structure, depth, and texture into his art, creating pieces that challenge perception. For him, painting is not just a medium but a process of discovery, pushing beyond traditional boundaries to explore new possibilities in visual expression.
