The Rădulescu Galleries emerged from a dialogue between generations (Alexandru Rădulescu continues the project started by his mother) and between college colleagues (ITA Bucharest), where the two art historians who form the gallery team began to collaborate. Still focused on its original object - the big or unfairly disadvantaged names of modern Romanian art (pre-50s), - the gallery has also turned to contemporary art in recent years. It is a consequence of Alexandru Rădulescu's taste as a collector, as well as the result of approaching a new generation of young collectors, who have different expectations from the art they cultivate. The team's favorite place, where more and more collectors are approaching, is the space where the new and the old meet in a personal way, assumed as identity: the contemporary interior with historical accents chosen not only as an investment, but above all for the way they respond to the collector's taste and represent it. The gallery's enduring project is to be a bridge between generations of collectors and to accompany those of new generations in discovering their identity as people who live with art.
