The adventure called Galeria Romană began in 2014, in a house - monument in the center of Bucharest, the capital city. It was born from the desire of the 2 founders to offer the public in Romania and beyond, a space that carries with it value, experience and soul.
In a dynamic and eventful cultural landscape, we have tried to maintain a balance and become a landmark of stability and genuine artistic value, promoting high quality art.
Our mission is to provide unique and quality cultural experiences, enriching creativity and personal development, all in a place accessible to all, a vibrant and creative social space. Since our opening, we have strived to present to art lovers , collectors, museums, foundations, critics and the general public a careful selection of artists and works.
Thus, over time, we presented exhibitions of painting and graphics, sculpture, icons, photography and video, installation and happening. We alternated the exposure of established Romanian artists with the promotion of emerging artists from the Romanian and international artistic environment. The gallery also facilitates the organization of special projects – book launches, conferences, courses, theater and poetry evenings and other related activities.
In parallel with the activity of organizing exhibitions, we work closely with our collectors to compile their collections, to locate and exhibit the best works, offering advisory services in this field. We also offer support and propose decorative works for interiors, starting from the floor plans and finishes of the spaces proposed for fitting out. At Galeria Romană you will find a new perspective that goes beyond the classic, impersonal display of the work of art, a dialogue between the viewer and the work of art, an oasis of beauty and education of the gaze in a hurried and constantly moving world.
