Casa Pânzelor de Pictura (HH)

...

Founded in 1991, the "House of Paintings" Gallery represents a renowned family tradition (even since 1965) in the field of commercialization and production of painting materials. The history of our gallery is intertwined with the art and life stories of many painters such as Corneliu Baba, Ion Pacea, Marius Cilievici, and after 1989, we worked intensively for world-famous artists such as Adrian Ghenie, Gheorghe Brudașcu, Ștefan Câltia, Henri Mavrodin, Vladimir Zamfirescu and others.

The knowledge gained over the years and the attention with which we have honored the most difficult demands have recommended us as professionals of the contemporary art scene. At the same time, we have initiated collaborations with brand manufacturers from Italy and France, so now we are happy to be able to sell the most refined painting colors made with poppy oil and top-quality pigments. We are thus exclusive representatives in Romania of the French brand "Charvin", producers with a history of almost 200 years (favorite colors of Paul Cezanne and Henri Matisse). At our booth at MOBU (HH) we offer the public a wide range of "Charvin" products (oil colors, acrylics, varnishes), and our specialists are at your disposal with detailed information.

At MOBU 2024, our booth exhibits two artists with a great impact on the public: Sergiu Roman, Romanian painter with extensive international exhibition activity (Shanghai, Tokyo, Valencia) and, exclusively in Romania, Dong Dafeng, a highly appreciated contemporary Chinese painter, who recorded a remarkable success in New York in recent years. Along with them, we exhibit works signed by the artists Mircea Novac, Sofia Ovejan, Mihai Glodeanu, Dragoș Bojin, Laurențiu Midvichi, Răzvan Stanciu, Andronicuss, Brândușa Bontea and Alexandra Câmpeanu Gheorghe (all of them using Charvin colors).

An additional attraction of our booth is the oversized portrait of Nicolae Ceaușescu, one of the last original festivity paintings existing on the art market.
