ALIAJ is a collaborative structure between five active artist-run spaces in Bucharest: ALERT studio, Atelier 030202, Diptych Art Space, ETAJ artist-run space and MNȚRplusC. This has as its main purpose the valorization of material resources, creative or of other nature,

in order to develop projects with a focus on contemporary art of greater scope in relation to the possibilities of each space viewed independently.

ALIAJ is constituted as a useful information tool, contextualizing and archiving the events produced in its premises in order to create an authentic connection between the local/national and international art scene. Not being subordinated to commercial criteria or bureaucratic institutional rigors, often conventional and unfriendly, the artistic events initiated in ALIAJ spaces offer the public fresh,

innovative productions, freed from the "burdens" specific to project spaces.

Conceived as an open platform, other similar spaces can later engage in this structure, ALIAJ asserts its identity as a work-in-progress approach.
