1-Q Sapro (b. 1975, Bucharest) is a musician, actor and visual artist, currently a second-year student at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting section. Also, 1-Q Sapro was a founding member of the hip-hop band Morometzii (1993), having a musical career of over 20 years. In his visual practice, he oscillates in a wide range of experimental plastic techniques and manners, from drawing, engraving, collage, mosaic, to painting on canvas and sculptural objects. His works evoke an analytical (and critical as the case may be) spirit on the condition of man in society, in married life, or in contemplation with himself.
